Progress. Making more friends. Even from outside my department. I notice that despite my innate nature to be quiet, I seem to be more comfortable with people who know how to have fun. Makes sense I guess. If I hanged around people who are too quiet, I'd bore myself to death eventually.
Finally moved to the Fort and started the first shift in the new site. It's a nice place. Very corporate. Very nice ambience. I think I'll enjoy it here.
Evolution continues of course. I'm learning to learn the finer skills of talking with people. Be brief but concise. Reciprocate attention. Hold back emotions. Know one's objectives. And pursue it with quiet determination.
I surprised myself last night. I didn't know I could look so decent. And professional. The long hair I cultivated for a year is gone now. I now have short hair. And with the proper attire, I can finally look presentable. But to maintain it will take time. Lots of time... Good thing it's the only thing I have plenty of...
