First Timer eh?

Here I am on my first blog ever. I've been reading blogs for a few years before I even realized they were called 'blogs'. Back then I just thought of them as an online diary of people who led fascinating lives. Now I know that diary is called a blog.

So why am I doing so right now? Mostly to get thoughts out of my head. I do that with my own journal but this time I'm trying something new. I'm making it online.

I would say I've prepared for it. You see, I used to keep a diary where I would literally put my thoughts into. No editing, just raw info. Yep, even the mean thoughts that you would not normally tell anyone, not even into the air.

But my mom and step-dad kept finding it. And kept being offended by it. I would ask them just why they would read it in the first place. No, the 'discussion' would be diverted as to why I would write something like that.

I won't bore you with the details. Long and short of it is, I've learned to keep a journal of my life without being able to offend anyone directly, I edit them now as I write the words. So I'm hoping I'll be able to do the same here.

The challenge now is finding enough readers that will actually stick with me and maybe, just maybe, learn from each other. It's a long shot I know since I've been to an awful lot of blogs lately but a bloke can hope, can't he?

Anyways, I'll add more soon. Next time I intend to share why I titled my blog 'Burnt Observer'.
