I can't get this mantra off my head: "I'm gonna watch Transformers. I'm gonna watch Transformers." I know, I know, it's sad but no getting around it. I really am looking forward to it. As soon as I get my pay, and get work off my load, I'm heading to the movies. Booya! Another hurrah for nerdgasm.
Anyways, I reckon by August I'm FULLY updated on my debts. Finally. It's a major pain but no getting around it. The fact I've no bonus on July hampered me a bit but I'll be damned if I don't prevail.
After that, I prepare for my last semester. Plan suffered a setback when I learned DLSU doesn't take credit cards. Crap. Not a good prospect. Better double-check and be sure about it. I might be wrong. I hope.

Summer Past
Lordie, I've forgotten all about my blog during these summer months. Anyways, now I do have time again. And attention. I really got to focus sometimes.
Right now kinda under the weather but I'll live. It's the beginning of the rainy season now and it seems my resistance to viruses isn't what it used to be. Crap. My 29th birthday is fast approaching...
Anyways, still in my relationship and quite happy. Surprisingly we haven't argued with. Not that I'm complaining but it's just as well both of us are reasonable. And she's been teaching me how to manage my money. I suck at watching over my cash flow. Real bad. Anyways, I'm now only 3 months behind rent. It's a heck of an improvement compared to being half a year behind. The worrying is beginning to ease up a bit. I reckon by August's end, I'm fully updated again.
Still no word from my dad though. Looks like I'm going commando for my last semester. Gotta figure out how to raise the cash. Worse case scenario I take out a loan. Or credit cards. I'm still not used to the idea that the universities here accept credit cards. Gonna be a pain settling those big debts next year but if that's the price of my diploma, then it's a price I'm going to pay. Gladly.
Let's see... I've visited the theme park Enchanged Kingdom already. I confirmed I'm still vulnerable to vertigo. Crap. The bloody Flying Fiesta had me nauseaus for the rest of the afternoon. The Rapids had me wet. I should have brought swimming trunks for that. It would have spared me from having wet shoes. The horror house? Meh. Too short and too quick. The Anchors Aweigh.... I hate it. I hate the sensation of leaving not only my stomach behind but my soul as well each time the ride goes down. My knees trembled uncontrollably. I had to jam them against the front seat's back just to keep them steady. Yep, that bad. But I still keep looking forward to it next time. A pity that the Space Shuttle was closed for maintenance. It'd been a moment of truth for me. Will I take it like a man or will I shriek like a little girl? That's the question right there.
Anyways, looking forward to August and September. We in the dorm have a trip planned for Baguio. I can't wait. I want to see the City of Pines again. It' has been 17 years since my last visit. I wonder what's new.
